Terms and Conditions for GAME Retail Limited & Mastercard Europe SA (“Mastercard”), ‘League of Legends’ Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”).

1. PRIZES: The prizes are:

i) One lucky winner (plus a guest of their choosing) will win a four day/three night trip to attend the ‘League of Legends’ World Championships taking place in Seoul, South Korea, the details of which are set out in Section 5 of these terms (the ‘Primary Prize’).
ii) Three runners-ups will each win a PureArts ® ‘Teemo’ ¼ scale statue and £200 worth of League of Legends Riot Points provided by Mastercard (the ‘Runner-up Prizes’).
The Primary Prize and the Runners-up Prizes are collectively known as the “Prize” or “Prizes”

2. ACCEPTANCE: By entering this Prize Draw, you agree you have read and accept these terms and conditions (“Terms”). GAME Retail Limited (“GAME, we, our, us”) reserve the right to verify any entries and winners and may refuse to award Prizes where we have reasonable grounds to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms. You can access these Terms at any time during the Prize Draw at www.belong.gg/lol-worlds-x-mastercard-terms-and-conditions/ or alternatively a hard copy will be made available at all participating Belong gaming arenas upon request. We suggest that you keep a copy of these Terms for your own records.

3. ELIGIBILITY: Our Prize Draw is open to:
• UK residents aged 18 or over. The guest chosen can be under the age of 18 years old however any guests under the age of 16 must have the consent of their parent or legal guardian in order to travel;
• holders of a ‘Mastercard’ branded debit or credit card issued by a UK financial institution regulated by the FCA (“Mastercard Card");
• a member of the GAME Reward loyalty scheme (“GAME Reward”) or alternatively if they are not a member of GAME Reward provides the account details (with their prior consent) of a member of the GAME Reward scheme at the time of purchase. The account needs to be not invalid, banned, restricted or been made dormant by GAME. Details of GAME Reward can be found at https://www.game.co.uk/reward. THE MEMBER OF GAME REWARD WHOSE ACCOUNT DETAILS ARE PROVIDED BY THE PURCHASER AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE ON A MASTERCARD CARD WILL BE THE PERSON ENTERED INTO THE PRIZE DRAW (SUBJECT TO THEIR GAME REWARD ACCOUNT NOT BEING INVALID, BANNED, RESTRICTED OR MADE DORMANT BY GAME); and
• be free and available to travel to Seoul, South Korea on Friday 17 November 2023 and return to the UK on Monday 20 November 2023. The flight departs from a London based airport (precise details to be provided to the winner) arriving into Seoul on 17 November 2023. The flight departing Seoul will be on 20 November 2023 arriving back into the London based airport. The winner and the guest of their choosing must hold valid visas and passports with at least six (6) months’ validity remaining after the return date.

The following persons are not eligible to enter:

No employees of Mastercard, Frasers Group plc GAME Retail Limited, Belong Gaming Arena or Riot Games Inc, their subsidiaries, other group companies, their agents, or any company associated with the Prize Draw and those involved in this promotion are eligible to enter.

We may ask for proof of age, residence or eligibility. Delay or failure to provide the evidence to our reasonable satisfaction may result in an entry being void or a Prize being forfeited.

Our decision as to whether an entrant (or their entry) is eligible for this Prize Draw is final and we are not obliged to provide any reasons for disqualification.

• HOW TO ENTER: Subject to Section 3 above, a person who makes a purchase (excluding the purchase of any warranty, insurance or finance products or services provided by GAME) in a Belong Gaming Arena in the UK (locations can be found at https://www.belong.gg/arenas/) (PURCHASES MADE ON BELONG’S WEBSITE AT HTTPS://WWW.BELONG.GG/ ARE EXCLUDED FROM ENTRY INTO THE PRIZE DRAW) and be exclusively with a Mastercard Card between 12.00 on Wednesday 25 August 2023 and 23.59 on Saturday 30 September 2023. The purchaser must provide their GAME Reward account details or that of consenting member of GAME Reward at the time of purchase. THE MEMBER OF GAME REWARD WHOSE ACCOUNT DETAILS ARE PROVIDED BY THE PURCHASER AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE ON A MASTERCARD CARD WILL BE THE PERSON ENTERED INTO THE PRIZE DRAW (SUBJECT TO THEIR GAME REWARD ACCOUNT NOT BEING INVALID, BANNED, RESTRICTED OR MADE DORMANT BY GAME to be in with a chance to win a Prize as well as automatically be given a 20% discount code off the purchase of a Belong Gaming Arena Day Pass, (the discount code will be included on the receipt at the time of purchase and is valid to use until 30th September 2023. The GAME Reward account holder is entitled to one entry into the Prize Draw per each separate purchase made on a Mastercard Card in accordance with this section.

Prior to the purchase being made, please ensure that you inform the Belong staff member that you will be making the purchase on a Mastercard Card and that you have a GAME Reward account or that you are using the GAME Reward account of another consenting member in order for that member of GAME Reward to enter the Prize Draw by either providing the member of staff with: (i) the GAME Reward account details; (ii) the GAME Reward account card; (iii) the GAME Reward mobile app registered with your GAME Reward details or that of the consenting member of GAME Reward; or (iv) if you do not hold any of the requirements under (i) – (iii) then the postcode that the GAME Reward account is registered to enable the member of staff to locate the GAME Reward account on the GAME system.

Any purchases made after 23.59 on 30 September 2023 will not be entered into the Prize Draw. A valid email address must be present on the GAME Reward account as this will be used to contact the winner(s). The GAME Reward account holder must ensure the email details provided on the account are correct. GAME accepts no liability for being unable to make contact with a winner in the event that the email address provided is incorrect or it is established does not belong to the GAME Reward account holder.

4. SELECTION OF PRIMARY PRIZE WINNER AND RUNNERS-UP PRIZE WINNERS

There will be one winner of the Primary Prize and three (3) winners of the Runners-Up Prizes.

The winners of the Prizes will be chosen at random by a computer out of all eligible entries submitted in accordance with these Terms. GAME, at its sole discretion is entitled to remove any entries where it is discovered the entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements set out in Section 3 and/or that the GAME Reward account is suspended or restricted for any reason.

5. PRIMARY PRIZE: The Primary Prize (as set out as follows) is supplied by Mastercard. The Primary Prize will consist of the following;

(i) return flights for the winner and their one nominated guest to Seoul, South Korea from Friday 17 November 2023 returning on Monday 20 November 2023 to attend the ‘League of Legends’ World Championships;

(ii) the flight departs from a London based airport (details of which are to be provided following announcement of the winner) arriving into Seoul (Incheon International Airport) on 17 November 2023. The flight departing Seoul will be on 20 November 2023 arriving back into the London based airport.

accommodation for the winner and their nominated guest in one hotel room (details of which are to be provided following announcement of the winner) for all three nights.
(iv)
The Primary Prize will include all departure and return transfers from one UK home address nominated by the winner to and from the London based airport on the dates of departure and arrival. All transfers, trains or flights will be subject to availability at the time of booking. All transfers to and from the airport to the hotel as well as attending the ‘League of Legends World Championships’ Opening Ceremony Dress Rehearsal on the 18 November as well as the ‘League of Legends’ World Championships’ on 19 November in Seoul are included. A welcome dinner is included for the winner and their guest on day 1, breakfast at the hotel for both the winner and the guest are included on all four days as well as dinner and lunch on days 2 and 3. The winner will be provided with a prepaid card with a maximum of $250 (US dollars) prior to the flight to Seoul to use as they wish on expenses not covered within the Primary Prize incurred on the trip.

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

The Winner and their nominated guest is responsible for any costs or expenses (including all necessary visa requirements prior to travel, travel insurance or health care cover) incurred other than those that are expressly stated above as being included as part of the Primary Prize. The Primary Prize can only be used from 17 November 2023 to 20 November 2023 inclusive. The winner and their guest must travel together on the same flight and stay in the same hotel room. The winner and their guest must hold valid visas (where applicable) and valid passports with at least 6 months’ validity remaining after the return date. All passports, visas and other travel documentation, such as travel insurance (including any insurance or arrangement required to meet any costs any pre-existing medical condition), are the responsibility and cost of the winner and their guest. The Promoter, Mastercard and/or their agents cannot be held responsible if the winner or their guest fail to obtain the required travel documentation in order to travel. The Primary Prize package including flights, hotel and admission to the League of Legends World Championships cannot be redeemed separately.

All travel, accommodation and other products and services provided to the winner will be provided subject to the terms and conditions of each respective provider. Neither the Promoter, Mastercard nor their agents will have any liability in relation to, and any dispute arising from and including flights, hotel and admission to the League of Legends World Championships and any other items as part which form part of the Primary Prize.

6. RUNNERS-UP PRIZES: three (3) runners-up entries randomly chosen will win a PureArts ® ‘Teemo’ ¼ Scale Statue and The League of Legends Riot Points worth £200. The League of Legends Riot Points can be redeemed via a digital code emailed to the runners-up by GAME.

7. DRAW DATES: The Prize Draw will be drawn from the eligible entrants within two working days of the Prize Draw end date of 23:29 on Saturday 30 September 2023.The entrants who are selected as winners of the Prizes will be notified by GAME via the email address that is attributed to the GAME Reward loyalty account provided at the time of purchase, by 17:00 on Wednesday 4 October 2023. The winner of the Primary Prize will have until 14:00 on Friday 6 October 2023 to accept the Primary Prize. If no response is received from the entrant, GAME shall send a further email on or before 18:00 on Friday 6 October 2023 advising that acceptance of the Primary Prize must be made by 11:00 on Monday 9 October 2023 or the Primary Prize will be forfeited. If the entrant does not reply within this time period or forfeits the Prize, we reserve the right to choose another winner at random from all other eligible entries.

8. NO PRIZE SUBSTITUTES: The Prizes are as stated and there are no cash substitutes. If necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, we may (at our option) substitute the Prizes for a reasonable equivalent of equal or higher value The Prizes cannot be sold or transferred in any manner.

9. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION: When you give us the information we ask you for entry into the Prize Draw, we’ll use it as needed to conduct the Prize Draw as we’ve described in these Terms. This will include sharing your name and address as well as the details of the GAME Reward account member whose details were provided at the time of purchase with Mastercard being the party that is supplying the Prizes in order for them to make arrangements necessary relating to the administering of the Prizes. We will process, use and store your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be found at www.game.co.uk/privacy-policy

10. DETAILS OF PROMOTER: This Prize Draw is run by Game Retail Limited a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address is Unity House, Telford Road, Basingstoke, RG21 6YJ.

11. FINAL DECISION: The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. LIST OF WINNERS: You may request the last name and county of the Prize winners by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: GAME & Mastercard League of Legends Prize Draw, Game Retail Limited, Unity House, Telford Road, Basingstoke, RG21 6YJ. If you are a winner of a Prize, we will disclose your last name and the county you live in to anyone who requests this information, unless you notify when you claim your Prize that you do not want us to disclose this information.

13. ALTERNATIVE WINNER DRAW: If a Prize is declined by a winner or if a winner forfeits the Prize under these Terms, then GAME may at its absolute discretion draw an alternative winner using the same process of selection of the winners as set out in Section 6.

14. PROMOTER RIGHTS: GAME reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the Prize Draw at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its control.

15. LIABILITY While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit GAME’s liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud, GAME will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to GAME or to you at the time of entry to this Prize Draw or which are caused by a third party.

16. DISPUTES: This promotion shall be subject to English Law and the English courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this promotion.
